Multi-Purpose Hot/Cold Packs



Before heating or cooling please always bring hot/cold pack back to room temperature.


To be used by a responsible adult.

HEATING GUIDE

  1. Remove all packaging
  2. Place hot/cold pack on clean dinner plate with half a cup of water (125ml) for humidity purposes (prevents grain from drying out) on turntable in microwave.
  3. Set time for 2 minutes
  4. Carefully remove hot water from microwave.
  5. Test heat pack on forearm for desired temperature. For additional heat, only heat for 30 seconds at a time to prevent over heating.
  6. Gently shake heat pack to distribute heat evenly.
  7. Apply heat pack on desired part of the body.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Hot/cold pack should be completely cool or returned to room temperature before reheating. If further heating is required, reduce the time 30 second incriminates. Over heating may result in a burning smell being detected and can reduce the life of the heat pack . If over heating occurs, use appropriate utensils or oven mitts and place heat pack immediately on a non-combustible surface e.g. kitchen sink.

  • store hot/cold pack in cool dry place.
  • ensure hot/cold pack is not wet before heating.
  • heat hot/cold pack once a month for maintenance.
  • handle hot/cold pack with care to avoid seams from splitting.
  • hot/cold packs are designed to warm a person and not a bed.

COOLING GUIDE 

Before heating or cooling please always bring hot/cold pack back to room temperature.
To be used by a responsible adult.

  1. Remove all packaging 
  2. Place hot/cold pack in a waterproof zip lock bag to keep your hot/cold pack clean and fresh.
  3. Place in freezer for at least 1 hour.
  4. Remove hot/cold pack from waterproof bag.
  5. Place hot/cold pack on desired part of the body.
  6. Always bring hot/cold pack back to room temperature before heating otherwise in some cases the wheat inside will turn into a sludge, which will make your heat unusable.
